This week fot reading we did a comprehesion about bees.
The first thing we do is read the whole text about bees
Then we finish we answer the questions like: How do bees help our environment,What bees favourite colours is and what does the word native means.
Lastly when we finish our comprehesion we did a DLO about bees pollen i had to Research the types of flowers bees like to get pollen and write information about it.
I learn lots of information abou bees and flowers.
Hey Carson, I love bees. I grew up on a kiwifruit orchard so bees were vital to the success of our growing. One of my favourite bee facts is that bees return to their hives and do a dance to tell other bees where to find pollen and nectar, its their own language essentially. My other favourite fact is that the hive has nurse bees who can tell if a bee has returned with a disease (for example pesticides) and they take them to the bottom of the hive that is cut off from the rest of the hive. They make them stay there to avoid getting the rest of the hive sick.
