Presented shelters

We have presented our presentation for our emergency shelter so that we could get the contract.

First we introduced our company to our clients.

After introducing our company we explained why our shelter is the best. We also explained why we chose the materials for our shelter and why we chose the shape.

Lastly we were given our feedback from the clients of our presentation.

Our feedback from our clients is we didn't explain more about the shelter. We didn’t show our cardboard model during our presentation. And our last feedback was about how we didn’t talk about poles that were stuck in the ground. Next time i need to explain more about my shelter.

Faulty reasoning

For reading we did Faulty reasoning. There are five faulty reasoning: Illogical /simplified/Assumption, Circular Reasoning, Over-generalization, Biased Argument and Contradiction.

Illogical /simplified/Assumption means Providing evidence that does not directly support the claim.

Circular Reasoning means supporting a claim with the same claim.

Over-generalization means making a global statement when there are likely exceptions.

Biased Argument means making a claim that is influenced by your own personal feelings or experience.

Contradiction means providing evidence that goes against the original argument.

The first activity is putting the right text quote and the reasoning to the right faulty reasons.

The second activity was a guess. We had to put five faulty reasons to the right reasons. For example: The school uniforms are ugly because they are just not attractive is a Circular Reasoning.

The last activity. Was to make our own faulty reasoning. We find five reasons in the book and had to put in the right faulty reasons. For example: We know that the only reason you do not let us use the restroom is because you just want us to suffer it is Illogical /simplified/Assumption.

LI To understand faulty reasoning
