Te Ika a Maui

Today we translated Maori place names in the North Island into English

First I matched the Maori name places and English places. Example, Rotorua is Second Lake and Whangaroa is long harbour.

Lastly we marked it, I re-checked my work  to see if I got all of them right.

I enjoy learning the translations of places.
